Working hard

Move in day is coming up pretty soon and i couldn't be more excited about it! Next Saturday we go and sign our lease and get our apartment keys, then the following Friday WE MOVE IN! We have been working very hard on all the decorations, furniture, planning and packing. It's all coming together so nice!


This weekend was my last weekend with my dad, so i couldn't work on a lot of the furniture with my mom {she painting a bench and an armoire}. Before i left for the weekend, i did a little project for my room. I painted a window.


Here's the plan...


Paint it green, sand over it {making it look more antique}, cutting a piece of wood to put behind it, spray it with walk board stuff {don't know the name}, nail it to a wall in my bedroom and WA-LA! perfect :)

I got a lot more done after i took this picture... but while i was painting i was jammin to come good ole' John Mayer. He always knows how to calm me down.

Mom, Haley and Molly went out for a bit while i was painting, but they came back in a joyful mood :)

Bastonge wouldn't leave the cats alone, he tortures them.

Over all, it was a pretty good afternoon at the Reynold's abode! I love creative afternoons, rainy skies, John Mayer and fabulous family time! 

What could be better?
