Long time

This makes me happy :)

Today hasn't been such a great day... i'm trying to get my mind off a few things. Its not working out too well.

I have been a little slow in the blogging world lately, but so much has been going on that i haven't had time to simply breathe some fresh air. With move in day being only three weeks away, im pretty stressed. 

We have FIVE pieces of furniture to sand AND paint. Fabric to attach. Scattered furniture to retrieve. More planning to do. Shopping to finish. And lots more... Needless to say, we are no where close to being ready.

Chase's parents did help me out a ton with one project, if it weren't for them i would have had SIX pieces of furniture to paint and sand. Here she is...

The quality of the picture is an epic fail, but the head board is not. We actually had a lot of problems making it look like this. We used spray paint at first to make the "J" black... that ate away the white paint. So we had to start all over. Instead of it being a few hour project, it turned into an all day project. In the end, it was all worth it and i love it!! I want to thank everyone who helped me with the first project of the summer, Susan, Creed, Chase and Kristen {whom loaned me the head board to start with}.
