Eclipse, 3 o'clock, & worth it

Last night the Twilight saga, Eclipse, came out. Now, i am not one for freaking out and staying up all night for concert tickets or a movie. I like my sleep, a lot! But i will say, i did go last night with tons of screaming fans and crowded lines. It was a spur of the moment idea when i decided i wanted to go.

Kassidy was over at the house and was talking about how much she wanted to go. I got online and pre-ordered us some tickets, and like magic we were going to the 11:59pm showing of Eclipse! I ordered the tickets around 6, so mom and i drove, in the pouring rain, to wal-mart to pick her out some super cute glasses and waste a little time. When we arrived back home i still had two hours until i needed to leave... i napped :)

I woke up around 10, picked up Kassidy, and headed toward the Rave. We arrived at 10:30, and let me just say, our timing was PERFECT! We got our tickets and almost went straight inside. We only stood outside for about 20 or 30 minutes. Which is really good compaired to what i waited when we went to see New Moon.

When we got in we found our seats, found Kalli and Lance and chatted... we had an hour or so until the movie actually started.

...The movie was FABULOUS! My favorite by far!

I am not going to say anything about it... read the book before seeing the movie {highly recommended for any of the movies}

I didn't get home until 3 o'clock and i had to work from 7 to 4... i think it was worth it! I am not in the best mood today, from the lack of sleep three nights in a row. I guess i am just training myself for college life.

These are all the book covers... read them cover to cover :) I am going to read them again... when i find down time.

Breaking Dawn & Eclipse tied as my favorite books. But so far Eclipse is the better movie! They are making Breaking Dawn in two movies, either 9 months or a year apart! I'm so excited :)

That's right, these guys are on their way! I know they are fall and winter shoes, but that's why you order them in the summer so they are cheap, yet they are still in style when fall comes around! 

 Here's the story...

I went to the movies this past weekend to see "Knight and Day"

It was an okay movie... I'll give it a 7

Anyway, that's besides the point. There was a scene where Cameron was wearing the cutest boots and i feel in love. I had seen them on people during the fall and winter {of last year}, but they were ridiculously expensive, so i never got them... until today ;) I found them online and on sale for $29.99, org $79.99... can you say bargain shopper!!

Now, about the other shoes/slippers... they were funky and 9.99 so why not? right? I figured I could wear them around the house and the apartment {in about a month!!!}

That's my shopping for the rest of the summer!

Mr. MacBook is here and i couldn't be more pumped!!
I have been waiting SO long to have him and he was finally delivered to me today at work! With being a student at Shelton State i got the student discount, but not only that, i got a FREE printer {scanner, fax, copy, ect..} and Ipod Touch {i already have one, so i am giving my old one to my sister Haley}! I was majorly pumped when mom told me about this surprise!!

Now i am officially ready to take on the college world.

New edit

I have been starting to take pictures and edit them on a weekly basis. I am striving to start my own portfolio {we'll see}. But i love photography, always have. When i was little i thought about going to college for photography, but then i feel in love with becoming a teacher. After i changed my idea of my major, i thought about a minor. Minoring in photography with a Education degree is sort of pointless... so now it's just a side thing i do for fun! No classes, so don't judge {wink}. Anyway, this is my latest. I have two copies. I like this one the best!

We're back

After a week or so at the beach, it wasn't enough! I love everything about the beach! I vow to live there one day. We travel to the beach as a family every year and we have "beach traditions".

Our beach trip consisted of...

• laying out
• camping out
• eating lots of junk food {no diets this week}
• Shrimp basket on all you can eat shrimp Sunday's and Wednesday's
• Waterville {i got to go twice this year!!!}
• The Hangout
• Shop at the mall
• Take long walks on the beach
• Ride bikes around the State Park
• Scoops {ice cream} at least twice
• Walk the beach at night
• Look for the biggest sea shell
• Eat cereal and donuts almost everyday for breakfast

Needless to say, we enjoy ourselves and most defiantly splurge a little.

Because of the oil, this is what our family resorted to... Ghetto fabulous

But then it all cleared up for the rest of the trip :)

We actually took a day off from the beach and went to the Museum of Flight. I know it sounds lame, but it was really cool!

...I got a lovely surprise...

Sweet CL and his parents were at the beach for a few days. I got to spend some time with them.

...we spent the day at Waterville and then went out to eat at Bubba's for dinner and dessert! After dinner, we enjoyed a nice evening at the Hangout and a lovely walk on the beach!

All in all, we had a fabulous trip to the beach. Hopefully it wont be last for the summer!

Counting down the days

..are finished :)

We have been counting down the days until we go to the beach {since we came back last year}. We didn't get to go for SB, like we normally do, so our family is very beach needy right now! Heath & MG {Molly Grace} made a "Beach Countdown Calendar". They do it every year, but this year they were very excited to do it because we haven't been in so long!!

Every day {mostly} has something on it counting down to what we always do at the beach. I guess you could call them traditions.

Yes, I know, oil is in Gulf Shores. But my aunt Heidi and grandmom are already down there {they stay for a month} and they said it isn't as bad as the news is portraying it to be. Yes there are some oil spots in the ocean {far out} but nothing on the beach and they said you can't smell it.

So im pumped!!!

I got a new one

A new phone that is! I am pretty excited, due to the fact i was forced by a tragic accident to give up my blackberry.

... On prom night, CL and I were on our way to IHOP to meet everyone for an after prom meal. Savannah called me to see where we were {we are always late, never fails}. After the conversation ended, i put my BB {blackberry} in the cup holder. I always put my phone there for some odd reason. Well we arrived at IHOP moments later, I went to grab my phone and to my surprise, it was COVERED in coke! I cried {on the inside}. Needless to say, i never put my phones in cup holders anymore.

There i was, BB less and very depressed about. I was on a frantic search for a replacement phone. About that time, CL got a new phone, so i used his old phone {Dare}. Unfortunately, it didn't have Internet or e-mailing. I had the blackberry data plan, and it wouldn't transfer  over to a normal data plan {i don't know}. I was sad, very sad.

But, GOOD NEWS!! as of June 5th and 7th {i already had to replace it} i have a new phone that has e-mail and Internet {im pumped}

Here she is, my lovely Palm Pre Plus....

Although this one is mighty fine, it is not my personal one. I haven't taken a picture of it yet. Mine has a PINK case on it {which totally makes the phone}. I needed a little characteristic to mine, since CL has the same one {oops}. She has everything you could possible need including FREE Wi-Fi to lap tops! That's what sold me! I now have free Internet connection to my lap top {which i am ordering soon, and super pumped- i'll defiantly blog about her too}! That means no monthly charges & i can use it anywhere i have phone service! How cool!!

Right on target

Yesterday a few friends came over to have dinner {Bailey, Taylor, Chase and Kassidy}. We had a wonderful meal with pork cops, chicken, hashbrown cassarole, green beans, & my all time favorite, cresent rolls {to go with EVERY meal!}. Spending time with them was a lot fun {i haven't seen B & T since graduation}, we were sort of catching up. While laughing and enjoying the meal {for 9 people, WOW} was a great part of the night, it wasn't the highlight {but VERY close}.

After everyone left {minus Chase Lee- he can stick around for a while;)} Heath asked if CL and I if we wanted to shoot his new pistal. So we did. It was actually a lot of fun. CL and Heath had "male bonding time". It was cute.

I was pretty nervous the first go around, but i couldn't make the target which really made me mad. ;) But on my last shot, I DID IT!! I was so happy that i jumped up and down with a pistol in my hand {don't do that, Heath got mad}. I was so excited though!!

... that I am throughly pumped about some Alabama football!!! I have been thinking about it a lot lately and i just decided to go look up the schedule. It's pure bliss!!!

I couldn't be more excited to be working with my mom st the firm in Birmingham. This is my very last full summer at home before i start taking classes over the summer in college and living full time in the apartment. The reason i decided to do the job at the firm, again, was to spend more time with my mom. We drive everyday together {with Jerms- Jeremy} and email all day. I have an office downstairs while she is up.


I just love answering phones all day... it's actually kind of interesting to listen to the people that call. 


Well anyway, the only thing that really stinks about working at the firm is that sometimes time can take FOREVER! i look at this watch on my wrist every second it seems like {which i love, thank you cousin K- Kamin}.

This is really close to what mine looks like. Sweet cousin K got it for me for graduation and i LOVE it. I have never owned a watch before, and i now i always will. Thank you K, for the addiction {i have many}.

 Well since all i do i stare at this gorgeous watch all day, i have to have coffee. But not just ANY ole' coffee- the good stuff.

This is what gets me through the day. It's espresso and it's to die for! My dad actually got me two cans of it to start me off at college. He did a coffee theme for my present {he knows I'm addicted} it was so cute and i loved it!!! Like father, like daughter.

Addiction/ tragedy

Shopping, yes... that's my addiction. I have been working at my mom's firm in Birmingham {by the way, i now officially HATE Birmingham- story later} for the past two summer. This summer will be my third. While i get the honor of working with this lovely firm, i also get the enjoyment of shopping on the Internet when i find some down time.

First off, eBay is my best friend! She is amazing, and she loves to help me find the cutest {cheapest} clothing articles.

Here is what she is helping me buy today:

A pair of $100 dollar jeans for the lucky price of $41.00, whoo hoo!! {i'm pumped} 

Well at least i have good news.

But i got some bad.

I had a VERY traumatic experience driving in Birmingham. I vow to never go back under my own free will. I  really cannot express the feeling i had, but it wasn't a very fun one! Here's the gist of the story...

I was going to Vestavia Hills from the office of south side. Going there wasn't the problem, it was coming back. The exit that i usually take to get to the office {on a normal day} was blocked off by the police {how rude!}. So i calmly called my mom and asked her to give me directions on how to get home. We car-pol with Jeremy so i knew she would have an idea of how to navigate Birmingham... NOT!!! I was in the middle of the UAB hospital intersection and she didn't know where i was. Never the less, i found my way back {30 minutes later}.

It's the begining

So, this is my first blog post and let me just go ahead and put it out there... I'm a little nervous. My inspiration for proceeding with the non-stop, never ending blogging is my two sweet cousin's K and Kristin. They are devoted bloggers, one {maybe twice} a day! I don't for see me doing that type of blogging, but i am going to try my best!


CONGRATS to the class of 2010, we did it! That's right, I graduated from high school. I am finished! But now {starting in the fall} there is time for even more school. Something ironic, I want to become a Elem. Education teacher. Talk about school for life {that's me!}

We are going to be attending Shelton in the fall {and then later move on the the University of Alabama, RTR}. For those of you who don't know, Shelton State Community College is the sister of U of A. It is in ttown so we still get the full college experience! Precious Kalli and I are living together in a two bed, two bath apartment! We are excited!

The most recent thing that i am MOST excited about is the actual part-take in graduation itself. I graduated with honor, lots of studying, but it paid off!! 

 After Graduation, the entire family {&MORE} came over to the house to enjoy lovely company, yummy food, and gorgeous decorations {brought to you by Susan & Heather}. They did such a FABULOUS job!!
